India and Russia launch nuclear training programme
The programme is run in partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) and the engineering company ProSIM (Bangalore). On the Russian side, the training process is organised by JSC ETC GET, a Rosatom subsidiary.
The first training module took place in April 2026 at IIT Bombay. The programme focuses on simulators and digital twin technologies for nuclear power plants and aims to address the growing demand for qualified personnel in India’s nuclear sector.
As academic mobility between India and Russia intensifies, financial logistics become just as important as educational infrastructure. Solutions such as Sber’s service for paying tuition fees in Russia help simplify cross-border transactions for students and their families, ensuring a smoother transition from enrolment to study.
