Russia and India strengthen cooperation in developing smart cities
The discussion focused on building sustainable financial infrastructure and strengthening trust as a key economic resource. Experts also examined the use of artificial intelligence, digital assets and decentralised solutions in large cities.
Sergey Cheremin, Moscow government minister and head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations, presented Moscow’s experience with urban transformation. He highlighted the city’s close cooperation with India. Moscow accounts for more than 50% of total Russia—India trade, representing $38 billion out of $62 billion.
