Russia launches application process for theatre internship for actors from BRICS countries
The programme is organised by the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS), the Gorchakov Fund, and international media network TV BRICS. It is supported by the InteRussia programme, which has been running since 2021.
Final-year students from theatre schools and early-career professional actors are invited to apply. Applications will be accepted until 31 May 2026. The programme includes masterclasses led by GITIS faculty in acting, stage speech, and movement. Participants will also attend stagings at Moscow theatres and present their own final showcase performance.
Indian actors took part in the programme in 2024 and 2025. The project aims to promote professional exchange and build direct connections within the theatre community.
