Indian delegation visits Metrovagonmash plant
An Indian delegation visited the Metrovagonmash plant, part of Russia’s Transmashholding (TMH), as part of an experience-sharing visit. The guests received an orientation in advanced practices in Russian rolling stock design and manufacturing.
Transmashholding’s management also gave a presentation on ongoing automation and digitalisation initiatives across production processes at the plant. Following the visit, the delegation praised the plant’s advanced technological capabilities.
Transmashholding (TMH) collaborates on joint projects with Indian partners. In 2023, a consortium led by TMH won an international tender to design, manufacture and service Vande Bharat long-distance trains in India.
