Sber and Mosfilm open SberStudios virtual production facility
The facility operated in pilot mode for a year before its official launch. During that time, more than 30 projects were completed, including the films Propast (The Abyss), Veselchak U (Mr. Happy U) and Sadko, as well as advertising campaigns for major brands.
SberStudios features a 50 × 22 × 9 metre AOTO LED screen that can replace physical sets. A professional volumetric capture studio enables the creation of 3D models of actors and objects, while robotic camera systems provide highly precise and repeatable camera movements. Visual effects are created using artificial intelligence, allowing directors to see the final image during filming and significantly reducing post-production work.
